Localized Language Support: As we expand into new geographies and support global law firms’ needs, local language support is a key area of focus. In fact, our global R&D teams have already been at work on this initiative. We will begin introducing French, German and Spanish languages into our applications in 7/2020, and support for other languages will follow.

German Datacenters: NetDocuments will further extend its global capability with new data centers located in Germany operational in early 2020. Germany now has 3 datacenters working under the advanced object store with “erasure coding” technology for super-high availability of data. Regarding NetDocuments’ data center expansion into Germany, Legal IT Insider’s editor-in-chief said it best in her 8/10article highlighting recent NetDocuments product enhancements: “NetDocuments is now delivering on its promise of a German data centre, adding to those in the UK, US, and Australia … This will appeal to NetDocuments international firms.”

Data Sovereignty. The NetDocuments platform supports data sovereignty mandates to store business content in the country of origin. Our customers map their business needs to country storage using ndFlexStore. With this technology, our platform enables data sovereignty, client consent compliance, and information governance policies on data privacy while maintaining a single, global document library.

With a new Pro version, NetDocuments enhances its ndFlexStore technology to make accessing your content faster than ever before, downloading content up to 10 times quicker for large files sizes. ndFlexStore Pro adds a Content Server for local storage management, and cryptography and enables customers to ‘shrink the world’ by boosting document access speeds while maintaining local processing and data residency for sovereignty purposes. ndFlexStore Pro will be available in the spring of 2020.
